Terms & Conditions

Reservation and Confirmation:

We can provisionally reserve for you via telephone or email, but bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the full amount. The deposit secures your booking and constitutes a legally binding contract between you and Maddox Cruises. The remaining balance must be paid no later than 8 weeks before the start of the holiday. Bookings may not be transferred to a third party without our permission.

Cancellation Policy:

Should you choose to cancel your booking, refund rates for the remaining amount are as follows:

Sooner than 8 weeks prior to departure: 100% refund
8-4 weeks prior to departure: 50% refund
Later than 4 weeks prior to departure: 0% refund

Operator's Right of Termination:

We reserve the right to decline a booking without providing a reason. We may terminate a passenger’s cruise if, in our opinion, they endanger themselves, other passengers, the boat, or equipment by disregarding safety advice or instructions. Smoking inside the boat or disruptive behavior may also lead to termination of the cruise. Refunds, if any, will be at our discretion. We reserve the right to cancel any cruise due to insufficient bookings or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, alternative dates may be offered, or a full refund will be provided.

Water Restrictions & Force Majeure:

We reserve the right to alter or amend an agreed upon route if necessary due to canal stoppages, water shortages, floods, or for the safety and best interest of our passengers and crew. Delays or changes to the itinerary due to navigational difficulties or unforeseen circumstances are not grounds for cancellation of a confirmed holiday.

Personal Accident & Guests Property:

We shall not be liable for any loss or damage to personal property during the cruise. Guests are responsible for their own health and safety. We advise guests to arrange parking using JustPark but take no responsibility for theft or damage wherever guests chose to leave their vehicle. We cannot be held responsible for consequences resulting from undisclosed dietary requirements or health problems.

General:

Smoking is not permitted inside the boat. We reserve the right to levy a surcharge if there are changes to VAT rates after booking. While we strive for accuracy in our promotional materials, we are not liable for any inaccuracies.
